Boom Voyage - Take a Block-breaking Journey
Know those games where you control a paddle at the bottom of the screen, and have to keep a ball from falling through? Whatever the ball touches is destroyed, and you advance to the next level when everything on the screen is destroyed. The KraiSoft Entertainment-developed game Boom Voyage is like that – you control a paddle and you have to break blocks.
This game has several elements that set it apart from other similar games. Boom Voyage takes you on a trip through time. You will travel through six different ages - ancient Egypt, Antiquity, Maya, Asia, the Middle Ages, and the Wild West. Notice anything? Not only are you taken on a trip through time, you are also taken to various locations around the world, you are taken on a trip around the world.
The goal in the game is quite simple: destroy everything, don’t let the ball get past you. You can control the paddle with your computer’s keyboard, with the mouse, or with a joystick if you have one. As you destroy things powerups will drop towards you. There are good powerups and bad powerups. Keep this rule of thumb in mind: if the powerup is green, get it; if it is red, keep away from it.
From a visual point of view, this game is quite good looking. KraiSoft Entertainment put the emphasis on two things when it developed Boom Voyage:
1. Amusing gameplay – that is why there are powerups and friendly machines.
2. Good looking graphics – that is why the game features dazzling 3D graphics and visual effects. Your trip through time and across the world is that much better when everything looks nice.
It must be mentioned that Boom Voyage’s dazzling looks are accompanied by good music – so that you have something to listen to while destroying stuff.
Should you decide to give Boom Voyage a try, you must know that this game is only free to try. This means you can play it free of charge only for a trial period of 1 hour. Once that trial period is over, you will have to get a license to keep playing Boom Voyage.
